What is the boiling time for mussels


Fresh mussels should be boiled for 7 to 10 minutes. Frozen mussels should be boiled for 5 to 7 minutes.

Mussels Soup Recipe

The ingredients of mussels soup
Mussels, fresh or frozen - 2 kg.
Onions - 2 heads.
Garlic - 2-3 cloves.
Bread - 2-3 slices.
Olive oil - 2-3 tablespoons.
Parsley, salt and black pepper - to taste.
Eggs - 2 pcs.

Cooking mussels soup

Mussels in avocado sauce

The ingredients of mussels in avocado sauce
White Wine - 0,7 L
Mussels (you may use frozen) - 1 kg
Avocado - 2 pcs.

Cooking mussels in avocado sauce
Boil the mussels in white wine, peel avocado and take out the seeds. Avocado should be crush to the consistency of mashed potatoes. Put puree into a refrigerator for 15 minutes, then make out of it small cakes, put cooked mussels in the middle of each. Serve on China lettuce leaves.
