The recipe of Belarusian cabbage soup with veal

300 gr. of veal, 300 gr. of sauerkraut, a cup of cabbage pickle, 3-4 tablespoons of butter, 1 onionhead, 1 celery stalk, a small bunch of parsley, a tablespoon of flour, bay leaf, cumin, sugar, salt and pepper - to taste.

Cut meat into slices of 2 cm, boil it, fry the sauerkraut in the fat, add cabbage pickle. Saut? onion and celery. Add cabbage, roots and spices to the pan with the meat, add flour diluted in water. Cook for 20-25 minutes.

Irish Braised Veal Recipe

1 kg of veal, 1 onion head, half a head of leeks, 1 celery stalk, 1 large carrot, half a kilo of potatoes, 0,5 kg of cabbage, 2-3 tablespoons of butter, pepper and salt to taste.

Rinse veal, cut it into cubes of 3-4 cm, blanch (cook) it, rub with salt and pepper. Brown the onions, leeks and celery until they get golden brown, add the meat into the same pan. Pour the meat broth into the pan to the top, add finely chopped cabbage and potatoes. Simmer for 25-30 minutes.
