How long to boil laminaria

Put quick frozen laminaria into a pan of cold water, bring water to boil and cook for 10-15 minutes. Repeat this for three times. Boiled this way laminaria loses its bad smell. Boil canned laminaria for 5minutes after water boils. Dried laminaria is to be pre-soaked in cold water for about 10-12 hours and then it should be boiled for 20-30 minutes.
